“Film Intensive” - Screenwriting with Samuel Curtis (of Write to Riot!)

Want to turn your Poetic Ideas into a Screenplay this Summer? Develop your inspiration, writing, drafting, formatting, editing, note-giving/taking, and finishing skills…all culminating in your own originally produced screenplay that you will then learn how to “pitch” in the ever-growing creative entertainment industry.

The curriculum for the Screenwriters Summer Symposium for High School Students, offered through Get Lit - Words Ignite and Literary Riot Media Productions, is similar to that of an undergraduate degree program in Motion Picture Arts. It combines intensive professional training with a comprehensive understanding of the techniques and theories behind the art and craft of screenwriting. Prior experience in film or video is not required.

    Leave with a created screenplay!
