Los Angeles, CAGet Lit’s Poetic Directors Fellowship is pleased to announce the release of “An Afternoon of Conversation with Jane Fonda” as the first in a series of film interviews with leading voices in Hollywood and the creative industry. These industry leaders, like Jane Fonda, speak directly to the youth of Get Lit and select private audiences. The career-spanning significant interview with Jane is an intimate production originally filmed in front of a live studio audience at Dynasty Typewriter at The Hayworth Theater.

Along with a screening of select scenes from three of Jane Fonda’s films, Get Lit’s Head of Productions and Creative Development, Samuel Curtis and the 2018 Youth Poet Laureate of the West Coast, Mila Cuda, moderated a Q+A with Fonda on her craft as an actor, her experiences working with different directors, and how the power of words, speech, and voice have made a difference in her life.

Through the support of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Get Lit – Words Ignite’s Poetic Directors Fellowship greenlights youth-directed short films each year, burgeoning the inception of The Poetic New Wave, a new generation of lyrical filmmaking, storytelling, and content creation following the programming set forth from the Fellowship.

Full length production can be viewed in full screen at the video above, or on YouTube here.
