"Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination."
-Mary Oliver
Ale Peguero (He/They) is a dynamic, queer Mexican-American artist from Los Angeles whose robust background in community organizing and theatre serves as foundations and inspirations. At UCLA he is a Chicana/o and Central American Studies major with concentrations in Labor, Law, and Policy studies, as well as Expressive Arts. As a storyteller, he frames narratives of connection and resilience in the face of social issues through an intimate lens. As audiences are welcomed into glimpses of characters’ lives, Ale Peguero draws back the curtain on emotional worlds, interpersonal relationships, and how systems of oppression set the stage.
