Galileo Skye Chrisman Caro
Raised in Los Angeles, California and Rincón, Puerto Rico, Galileo Skye Chrisman Caro is a bicultural pianist whose unique relationship with the instrument and musical intuition have drawn attention from an early age. Galileo is passionate about sharing his music in diverse settings -- such as the square in his family’s hometown, Rincón, Puerto Rico, retirement communities in and around Los Angeles and local elementary schools -- as well as traditional recital halls. He recently performed Witold Lutoslawski’s Paganini Variations with Mihilo Kato at the LACHSA Piano Department’s spring Monster Concert and is proud to have received the Franz Liszt Merit Scholarship from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University for study this summer. Galileo has been taking piano lessons with his teacher, musical mentor and guide, Ivana Grubelic Malo, since 2014.
