Jonathan Smith (He/Him) is a senior at Venice High School. He is a youth ambassador of Uni(verse), an educational platform that will be launched in schools all over southern california. He appears in videos that will be played for students in LAUSD talking about mental health, neurodiversity, ethnic Studies, ect. Jonathan has performed for Disney, ACSA, and several high schools and middle schools all across Southern California. He recently appeared on ABC7 news in a segment talking about how poetry impacts him and how it inspires him to advocate for marginalized and youth voices. In the future, aside from writing and performing spoken word poetry, Smith will be pursuing a degree in Psychology at UCLA while cheering on the Spirit Squad!
