Julian Rife is a violinist, sound designer, and composer currently attending the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Beginning his musical journey as a violinist at age five, he developed a love for all genres of music and their relationship with the classical form. In addition to his long classical resume, performing at venues such as Carnegie Hall and Walt Disney Concert Hall, Julian is well versed in music creation as well as performance. His knack for music technology led him to become proficient in production and composition, and he collaborates with LACHSA’s Cinematic Arts Department students in the creation of music for film. Through his work Julian aims to support his peers in their music, while simultaneously enriching his pursuit of classical music.
