SHAMIKAH CHRISTINA MARTINEZ, is a Los Angeles based actor-writer and poet. On screen, she recurred on CBS Superior Donuts and co-starred on the Murphy Brown revival. She has written on television shows for Nickelodeon and Apple+ in addition to developing original pilots for FOX, Paramount+, TruTV, and more. Before working in film & television, Shamikah performed and directed sketch comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and produced some of your favorite music videos for Atlantic Records. She’s currently the head of Get Lit's Creative Lab, a poetic filmmaking program for Los Angeles youth.
